The Plan:
For almost two years Dell Park’s owner Stephan Blacher
researched and studied sober living environments. They talked to sober living environment professionals, locally and nationally. They looked at all types of sober living from the traditional Oxford House model to the modern therapeutic communities. They developed a plan that would incorporate the very best of all these
programs. The plan that evolved was to provide uncrowded, safe, secure and clean transitional housing for people who wish to rejoin the mainstream of society yet still desire to live in a supportive environment. Structure is provided by the residents who are encouraged to take responsibility for their recovery and their lives.

The Philosophy:
Our philosophy is “Simpler is Better”. We are a peer-based community. Individual residents, as in 12 Step programs, are expected to support one another in their recovery. We strive to have interpersonal conflicts between residents resolved by themselves rather than by staff members. Recovery Programs Network does not provide counseling services or group meetings to assist in recovery efforts. Instead we support and encourage the residents to take responsibility for their own recovery. We believe that with God’s help, a strong twelve step program, and a loving and supportive sober living environment quality long term recovery can be attained.

The Environment: Recovery Programs Network provides transitional housing for recovering alcoholics and addicts. We provide an alcohol and drug free environment. Spacious, clean and newly furnished apartments are fully equipped with eat-in kitchens, air-conditioning, cable and telephones. Dell Park has three separate one-level duplexes that form a U-shape with a manicured common in the center. We believe that one’s environment must reflect the overall philosophy of recovery. It is important that those in early sobriety have quality living space that encourages dignity and self respect. Dell Park was designed with this in mind.

Endorsement:
“Over the last twenty-two years I have seen scores of treatment centers, halfway houses and sober living environments. Recovering people benefit from spending time in a sober living environment with an eye toward transitioning into the mainstream of society. Several qualities define excellence in sober living environments.
First and foremost is a carefully researched and designed plan of operation. The plan then must be supported by a philosophy that encourages residents to become responsible for themselves while depending on others in the community for support. Residents should be surrounded by a physical environment that is not over crowded and that is safe and clean. A recovery-friendly geographic location is a definite plus.
Recovery Programs Network, Inc.’s Sober Village Community at Dell Park located in Delray Beach more than satisfies these requirements and will provide the highest quality sober living experience available today.”
